Dear CES Families:
I wanted to make you aware that a staff member at Clark Elementary has tested positive for COVID-19. The staff was in the building; however, there were no close contacts so no contact tracing or additional exclusions of students or staff from school were necessary. The staff member will remain home in isolation for at least 10 days AND is 24-hours fever free in accordance with the Indiana State Department of Health's guidance.
I would like to take this opportunity to remind families and staff that students and staff should not attend school if there is a confirmed COVID-19 case in their home, if student or staff has pending test results of a COVID-19 test, or if student or staff is exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19.
Should you have questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact your building administrators. I would remind you that we cannot share a lot of information due to HIPAA Privacy Rules that establish national standards to protect individuals' medical records and other personal health information.
