As a reminder, the State of Indiana only allows schools to use three asynchronous e-learning days in which students log-in on their own and complete work without access to a teacher. We have utilized those days and now switch to "Synchronous (live) Learning". This means that your child will need to log-in to join the live sessions during the day. Information will be sent out by each school with more information about schedules and times.

🎓✨ The Clark-Pleasant Early Learning Center proudly celebrated Pre-K Graduation on Wednesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 29!
Each classroom hosted its own heartwarming ceremony, welcoming families to join in the celebration. Students were recognized with certificates and keepsakes—many of which they proudly created themselves.
From shared storytime and sing-alongs to sweet treats and big smiles, each celebration was as unique and joyful as the students themselves. Every graduate had their moment to shine as their name was called to receive their diploma.
It was a wonderful way to mark this milestone—and the pride on the faces of students and families said it all.

March 9-15, 2025, is Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Indiana.
Every Hoosier business, school and family should participate in the statewide tornado drill each year. The drill allows you to practice where to go, what to do and what to take so you are prepared in the event of a real tornado warning
On Tuesday, March, 11, 2025, around 10:15 am, The National Weather Service will issue a tornado warning alert through most notifications systems, including the Statewide Emergency Alert System!

Tuesday, our full-day pre-k students voted! They used the GCES voting stations, were presented with a choice, and then submitted their vote.
Fruit Snacks won the CPELC election; as expected, there were some tender feelings after however an I voted sticker seemed to help.

Since the ELC doesn’t go on field trips, we brought an experience to it! On Tuesday, students visited the “CPELC Pumpkin Patch” in the GCES Courtyard.
Each student picked a pumpkin and painted it. Before leaving, kids and staff posed for a photo. It was a fun, fall day!

Vaccine Exclusion Date for the 2024-2025 school year is:
October 21st, 2024
The last school day for students before fall break is Friday, October 4th.
Your students will have the opportunity to receive required vaccinations while out
of school during fall break.
If your student does not have their state required vaccines completed by Sunday,
October 20, 2024 they will not be able to return to school until required vaccines
are completed.
