Registration for the Whiteland Warriors Summer Basketball Camp is now open!
Our basketball camp is open for any boy who will be in 1st- 8th grade next year.
Our Future Warriors Basketball Camp for next year's 1st and 2nd graders will be May 19-22.
Our Future Warriors Basketball Camp for next year's 3rd-8th graders will be June 9, 10, 12, and 13.
We will also host a special Elite Camp for incoming 7th and 8th-grade students in June as well.

A Closer Look thanks to CPEF!
Thank you to the Clark Pleasant Education Foundation for the generous grant that provided our classroom with amazing microscopes and slides. Today, our 6th-grade science students had the incredible opportunity to explore the magnificent microscopic world for the first time. Their excitement and curiosity were evident in their smiles and reactions—it was truly a day of discovery and wonder! We are so grateful for your support in making this experience possible. Arbor Day is a national holiday that recognizes the importance of trees. The most common way people celebrate Arbor Day is to get together in groups to plant trees.
National Administrative Professionals Day 2025 is on Wednesday, April 23rd. This day, also known as National Secretaries Day, recognizes and celebrates the hard work of administrative assistants, secretaries, and other office support staff.
CPCSC would like to recognize and appreciate the contributions of administrative professionals in the workplace. Thank you!

National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day in 2025 is on the fourth Tuesday, April 22nd.
Why it's celebrated: This day is an opportunity to recognize the crucial work of school bus drivers in safely transporting students to and from school.
How it began: The day was established in 1981 to recognize the men and women who transport children to school safely. Here's a special thanks from Dr. Edsell. "A very special thank you to each and every bus driver for Clark-Pleasant Community Schools! Your adherence to safe driving practices, bus safety routines, and caring for the students who ride your bus is so appreciated! We absolutely have the best drivers!".

April 21 - April 25 is Public School Volunteer Week . It provides an opportunity for schools and families to honor and highlight the powerful contributions parents and caregivers provide at school and home to support student success. Thanks to all of our volunteers here at Clark-Pleasant who make each school day a success!
The CPMS Band had their first Instrument "Try-On" Night for our 5th graders who will be in Beginning Band at CPMS next year! We had a blast and are looking forward to 3 more Try-On Nights. If you have a current 5th grader who would like to be in band, they can still sign up for a try-on night here: https://www.mymusicstudents.com/cpms/
The only way to sign up for the band is to schedule a try-on night. We are looking forward to three more fun nights of trying instruments!

National Library Week 2025!
April 6-12, 2025, is a celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities.
April 5–13, is National Robotics Week 2025! This annual celebration aims to inspire students in robotics and STEM-related fields and share the excitement of robotics with audiences of all ages. Thanks to all of our CPCSC robotics teams, coaches and STEM teachers for all you do to inspire young minds.
On April 4th each year, National School Librarian Day recognizes the professionals who keep the school library in working order. School librarians spend long hours keeping the library organized. They are also dedicated to helping our children find the resources they need to keep learning. A BIG thank you to all of our great CPCSC School Librarians!
Paraprofessional Appreciation Day in 2025 is on Wednesday, April 2. This day is celebrated annually on the first Wednesday of April. Paraprofessionals, also known as paraeducators, are education assistants and instructional assistants. They play key roles in early education, special education, language acquisition, culturally relevant education, and family engagement. A BIG shoutout to all of our Paraprofessionals here at CPCSC for all you do!

Dr. Edsell recognized our CPMS Band Students, during Monday nights school board meeting. These young musicians were selected for the "Indiana Junior All State Band". This is a high honor which includes the top band students from all across the state of Indiana.

The CPMS Music Department hosted the 2025 ISSMA Concert event at CPMS this weekend. Both choirs earned a gold rating from the judges and the Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and Wind Symphony earned a Gold Rating “with distinction” Bravo to all of our music students!
March 9-15, 2025, is Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Indiana.
Every Hoosier business, school and family should participate in the statewide tornado drill each year. The drill allows you to practice where to go, what to do and what to take so you are prepared in the event of a real tornado warning
On Tuesday, March, 11, 2025, around 10:15 am, The National Weather Service will issue a tornado warning alert through most notifications systems, including the Statewide Emergency Alert System!
