WCHS Early College Program

In today's global society, a high school diploma only serves as a stepping-stone in a student's educational journey. Our Early College Program removes the academic, financial and psychological barriers that prevent too many students from advancing to and succeeding in college. Students receive enhanced supports to help them excel both academically and personally. Since students earn college credit while in high school, the time it takes to complete a college degree is condensed. The Early College Program turn obstances into opportunities for student success!

The Early College Program is conducted in partnership with Ivy Tech College and other area universities as an accelerated program allowing WCHS students to earn a college degree or credential as they achieve their high school diploma. Students in this program will earn their Associates Degree in tandem with their high school diploma.

Our partnership with Ivy Tech also includes campus visits, connections with faculty in various departments and access to orientation-to-college classes. As well as summer internships for academic enrichment.

December 9, 2024

The Clark-Pleasant Education Foundation was thrilled to sponsor a breakfast for our Early College Program students at Whiteland Community High School. We had 3 parent volunteers who helped serve breakfast, and we want to give a big shout out to our food services team for catering this event. We are excited to see our Early College program mature and expand as our school system continues to grow.
