Clark-Pleasant recently adopted a Tobacco Deferral Program due to the rise in students utilizing tobacco either via cigarettes or vaping. Students who are found in possession of tobacco will attend a one hour informational session, describing the dangers of smoking electronic cigarettes (including THC vape products.) Students attending will pay a $75.00 fee, which will be reduced to $25.00 with a parent or guardian present with them.
This program is not only informative for students, but parents as well. Students will take a 10 question examination at the end of this presentation.
