Whiteland Community High School Earns 2025 Indiana Purple Star School Designation
Whiteland, Ind. — Whiteland Community High School has been officially named a 2025 Indiana Purple Star School, a statewide designation that honors schools demonstrating exceptional commitment and support for service members, veterans, and students and families connected to the United States military.
The announcement came as part of the Indiana Department of Education’s statewide recognition of schools that have gone above and beyond to ensure military-connected students feel welcomed, supported, and prepared for success. The Purple Star designation is awarded for a period of three years.
“We are incredibly proud of this recognition,” said the Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation. “Whiteland Community High School is committed to supporting military-connected students and families in meaningful ways, and this designation affirms that commitment.”
Whiteland Community High School received an official certificate signed by Governor Mike Braun, Indiana Secretary of Education Katie Jenner, and Brigadier General Lawrence Muennich, Indiana’s Adjutant General.
