**Publishing Party at BES!**
On Friday, these young third-grade writers at Break-O-Day Elementary confidently walked across the "red carpet" and into the cafeteria to share their persuasive essays with parents and grandparents! Each student followed the writing process to create their books, culminating in what we call the "golden step"—sharing their writing with the world!
Many of the short stories focused on subjects that were meaningful to the students. They compiled their writing into books, complete with colorful covers.

Lunch in style!
Students that earned the limo ride and pizza from the Major Saver fundraiser were treated to their reward last week.

On Saturday, February 15, Miss Anvoots (CPMS Choir) and Mrs. Bowling (GCES Music) hosted an event called Circle the State with Song at CPMS. We had over 380 kids signed up to participate at our festival including kids from our Clark-Pleasant Middle School Choirs and all six of our elementary school choirs! Many other area schools joined us as well in making beautiful and meaningful music.
