A huge shoutout goes to Mr.Abney, Miss Crowe and Mr. Bockelman for representing BES in the Warriors vs. Harlem Wizards game on Saturday. Thank you for doing such an amazing job!

Fifth graders at BES took a trip to JA Biztown. Students spent time in class preparing for the visit to Biztown by learning about finances, interviewing for positions, and learning about responsibilities and routines that take place in a community. Once there, students participated in many "real world" activities like operating banks, managing restaurants, writing checks, or voting for the mayor. Students were able to connect the dots between what they learn in school and the real world!
