Clark-Pleasant Schools Closed Monday! April 2, 2023 Due to a confirmed tornado that caused considerable damage in the Whiteland area Friday evening there will be no classes on Monday. Some of our buildings still have power issues, utility poles are down and some roads are blocked due to storm cleanup which creates significant traffic problems, especially with our buses. All of these issues impact our ability to have school. We will reassess our situation Monday and will provide an update at that time. Shelter Available If you are without power in the Whiteland or Johnson County area, due to the storm, The Red Cross has set up a shelter for impacted residents at Greenwood Middle School. It's located at 1584 Averitt Rd, Greenwood, IN 46143. Please enter through door #8 All Clark-Pleasant Schools facilities are in good shape however some are currently without power.

Bubbling With Success at PCES! The third nine weeks grade level celebrations Friday at Pleasant Crossing Elementary saw lots of bubbles fly into the air as hundreds of students were given bubbles at the end of the celebration to blow outside. Individual programs, for each of the six grade levels, recognized students for academic, behavior, attendance, and a variety of recognitions depending on the age.

So many celebrations in kindergarten to start our week at PCES! These students are from Mrs. Lemon’s and Mrs. Borges-Hardesty’s classrooms and now know their letters and are blending CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words! Way to go, Warriors!

Congratulations to our PCES Robotics Team! They earned the “Judge’s Award” at their last competition this weekend! Way to go, Warriors! #wearepces

​Get ready to lace-up your running shoes. Registration is heating up for this Saturday’s annual “Fit At The Farm” run/walk at Kelsay Farms in Johnson County. The event, sponsored by the Clark-Pleasant Education Foundation along with Tuxedo Brothers offers an amazing $500 dollar prize to the Clark-Pleasant school/PTO with the most participants. The generous prize is offered by Kelsay Farms where the event is being held. “This has really become a wonderful community festival with a great purpose”, says foundation director, Jenny Zahm. “The goal is to provide, much needed, scholarships to assist our Clark-Pleasant teachers.”
