Eagle Scout Recognized by School Board!
Members of the Clark-Pleasant School Board recognized WCHS student, Logan Bast, Tuesday, for his Eagle Scout Project which benefits the school district. Logan, recently completed his project working with CPCSC Operations Director, Sam Arnes, who introduced him at the board meeting. The project was completed in the 8-acre wooded area between Sawmill Woods and Break-O-Day Elementary. Logan's troop and volunteers helped clear the trails by cutting and moving fallen trees and clearing overgrowth to create wider paths. Signs were also made to help identify some of the tree species found in the nature area. The classroom environment consisted of constructing new picnic style tables and benches all built by Logan’s troop, BSA Troop #615.

Dr. Edsell Visits Punjabi Club!
Punjabi class teacher, Kuldeep Waraitch, says she appreciated the superintendent's visit this week. "He gave our students a chance to directly talk to him about issues they might face during the school year", says Mrs. Waraitch. She says some students might be a little apprehensive to speak with the superintendent but in this setting they felt more comfortable asking questions. She says students were grateful for Dr. Edsell taking the time to meet with them.
