The Parent University scheduled for May 21, 2024, has been cancelled.

Our kindergartners and second graders had a publishing party today to share their work with each other! It was such a fun time to celebrate our growth as confident writers!

While society is getting more comfortable discussing mental health, it can still be hard to know #WhereToStart when it comes to taking care of ourselves. Learn more with Mental Health America’s #MentalHealthMonth resources: mhanational.org/may

Our fourth grade team chose our May “Warriors of the Month!” Congratulations to these students who received a special visit after school today!

Our second graders are growing so much as readers! Thank you to our second grade reading teacher, Mrs. Graham, for celebrating our students with a walk down the red carpet and sweet treat!

Our fourth graders sang “Back Home Again in Indiana” and recited a short speech about a famous person through a wax museum! A huge “thank you” to Mr. Phebus and Mrs. Settle for all of their hard in making this happen for our students!

CPCSC EMPLOYEES... Thank you! You are amazing and your generosity was recognized and awarded yesterday by the United Way of Johnson County. How awesome that OVER 50% of Clark Pleasant School Corporation Employees were contributors to the 2023 United Way Charitable Campaign!? It's incredible to have that kind of participation and you all made that happen! Looking forward to the 2024 Campaign.

Amazon Donation Day!
Wednesday was Amazon Donation Day at Whiteland Elementary. WES was selected for this incredible opportunity for our students and families. With parental permission, each student could pick out one item of their choice to bring home to the family. The goal for the day is to be able to provide students with access to pursue a generous heart. The “4 Good Community” organization believes it is just as special to give as to receive. It’s an opportunity for students to be generous to their families. Most of the items are Amazon items that have been returned to the company for various reasons but all are said to be in working order.
To our parent volunteers, you were incredible today. Thank you! 💙
