**Making the Pitch Perfect!**
There is a lot of activity happening at the soccer complex this week. Crews are currently working on the undercut of the field in preparation for the proof roll and the installation of the new synthetic turf.
Thanks to the warmer weather, workers are also completing the painting inside the main building, which is now about 90 percent finished. The ticket booth is ready to go as well.
The press box on the west side of the field is progressing nicely and should be completed in the next couple of weeks. Most of the new concrete work has been finished, and everything is scheduled to be completed in time for the soccer season.
March 9-15, 2025, is Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Indiana.
Every Hoosier business, school and family should participate in the statewide tornado drill each year. The drill allows you to practice where to go, what to do and what to take so you are prepared in the event of a real tornado warning
On Tuesday, March, 11, 2025, around 10:15 am, The National Weather Service will issue a tornado warning alert through most notifications systems, including the Statewide Emergency Alert System!

Envirothon!
“Ms. Tatlock and Mrs. Gootee took AP Environmental Science, Chemistry, and an AP Physics student Wednesday to learn about the environment and some issues that are being faced. This helps students understand the importance of finding solutions and how both plants and animals are being affected. Ms. Tatlock’s team got 6th out of 15. Mrs. Gootees students got 8th out of 15. Ms. Tatlock and Mrs. Gootee are very happy with how today turned out and getting to hear from professionals from different fields of Ecology so that their students got an experience that helps them further understand and share consecration efforts with others!
