Mental Health Month 2023
Spending time in nature is linked to many positive mental health outcomes, including improved focus, lower stress, better mood, reduced risk of developing mental health conditions, and a sense of connection to yourself, community, and purpose. Being around nature doesn’t have to mean hiking in a forest. It can be walking in a park, bringing a plant inside, or sitting in your backyard.

Mental Health Month 2023
You matter. During Mental Health Awareness Month and beyond, support is a text, call, or chat away. Talk to us 24/7. @988lifeline

Mental Health Month 2023
Having safe, stable, and healthy home conditions set the foundation for achieving and maintaining good mental health. For many people, not having a true “home base” to consistently return to can leave them feeling distressed, disconnected, or isolated.
Wherever you call “home,” it should give you feelings of comfort, support, and calmness. If not, there are things you can do to your space to help you be more productive, reach your goals, and improve your mental health.

Young Entrepreneurs!
WCHS economics students are testing out the business world this week during their annual Econ Mall event. As part of their class students come up with a business idea, marketing strategy and a price for their product or service. The big test is trying to sell those goods and services to other students.
Many stuck with selling familiar products like pop and pizza while others decided to really test the market by selling things like bamboo plants and homemade t-shirts. Students learn a lot through the exercise such as learning what it takes to make a profit or break even. Others unfortunately learn what a business "loss" can look like.
