National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day in 2025 is on the fourth Tuesday, April 22nd.
Why it's celebrated: This day is an opportunity to recognize the crucial work of school bus drivers in safely transporting students to and from school.
How it began: The day was established in 1981 to recognize the men and women who transport children to school safely. Here's a special thanks from Dr. Edsell. "A very special thank you to each and every bus driver for Clark-Pleasant Community Schools! Your adherence to safe driving practices, bus safety routines, and caring for the students who ride your bus is so appreciated! We absolutely have the best drivers!".
THANK YOU to all of our CPCSC school bus drivers for all you do.

April 21 - April 25 is Public School Volunteer Week . It provides an opportunity for schools and families to honor and highlight the powerful contributions parents and caregivers provide at school and home to support student success. Thanks to all of our volunteers here at Clark-Pleasant who make each school day a success!

A Night of One Acts!
We are excited to invite you to our highly anticipated spring production on May 2nd at 7 PM in the WCHS cafeteria.
Due to ongoing construction that has forced us to cancel our traditional spring musical, we are thrilled to present a remarkable alternative: "A Night of One Acts."
I am honored to direct "Whispers," a drama about the significance of community during the grieving process, written by Kendra Thomas and performed by our talented Theatre Arts classes. We are also pleased to announce that this event will mark Craig Patterson's directorial debut at WCHS with "Fortunes Read $1," a comedy about a quirky fortune teller, written by Kamron Klitgaard and performed by our gifted Theatre Club.
This unique event promises to be an evening full of captivating entertainment that you won’t want to miss. As a token of our appreciation for your support, we are happy to offer complimentary entry to all staff members. We look forward to celebrating the arts with you!

WCHS Construction Progress April 2025!

It's almost time for another season of Unified Track! When everyone gets the chance to compete, everyone wins!

Clark-Pleasant Police Officers visited WCHS Animal Science classes Monday.
Officer Mullins and Officer Foley talked with students about K9 training, the daily life of a K9, K9 uses at CPCSC, student questions about the dogs, and even set up a search demonstration for students to show them the K9's abilities!

Our partnership with Howard Companies is providing WCHS construction students hands on experience by working on different construction projects as part of their curriculum. Students have blocked off this concrete area on the east side of the North Building where they are learning and repairing the degraded surface in that area. This project is needed and will help the overall appearance and safety of our property along with teaching our students something new!
Students were able to get the area ready for concrete compacting the subgrade and putting dowels in place. Students will be laying the concrete on Wednesday next week.

WCHS Education Pathway students attended a Future Educator Professional Development Day on Tuesday.
It was a day full of learning from leaders across the district and preparing for careers in education.
Thank you to all who participated and to Sugar Creek Barbeque Co. for catering a delicious lunch!

Softball picks up their first win of the year with a Mid-State victory over Greenwood!

Baseball Tonight!!!

Please note that due to sewer main collapse in the student parking lot, we are going to redirect our student pick up to the west side of the north building. See image below for details. Students in the main building will exit out the transition doors and walk over to the north building (Same route as passing periods) and be picked up outside Doors 4 and 5 of the north building. Students in the north building can exit out Doors 4 and 5 on the west side of the building for pick up. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding and help in this matter.

Clark-Pleasant Schools will be on a 2-Hour Delay today, April 7th, due to Fog!

Paraprofessional Appreciation Day in 2025 is on Wednesday, April 2. This day is celebrated annually on the first Wednesday of April. Paraprofessionals, also known as paraeducators, are education assistants and instructional assistants. They play key roles in early education, special education, language acquisition, culturally relevant education, and family engagement. A BIG shoutout to all of our Paraprofessionals here at CPCSC for all you do!

Whiteland Jazz Band One absolutely killed it at ISSMA Jazz State Finals Friday night. They all played so well and with LOVE for the music!!! So proud of our trumpets for being awarded Best Trumpet Section at State Finals!!!
But I am also incredibly proud of our two bass players tonight! Sadly our talented senior bassist wasn’t able to perform with us tonight due to a mission trip and so our FRESHMAN and SOPHOMORE bassists from our Jazz 2 and 3 learned the charts in 4 rehearsals. They worked their tails off and I am both massively impressed and incredibly thankful for their dedication to our program and their bandmates.
It has been a night to remember!!!!
