We are proud to introduce our next Ambassador Academy member, Robert Speight, from our second class of ambassadors! 💙
Robert brings nearly 30 years of experience in the banking industry and currently serves as a Treasury Management Officer for JCBank, the official bank of CPCSC. Through his work, he plays an important role in supporting our local community and schools.
His connection to Clark-Pleasant is deeply personal. His wife, Brandi, has served students at Pleasant Crossing Elementary for 12 years, and all three of their children have been part of the CPCSC family. His two oldest, Ryne and Aleigh, are proud graduates of Whiteland Community High School, and his youngest, Lainey, is currently a sophomore continuing that tradition.
Robert is incredibly thankful for the opportunities CPCSC has provided his family and is proud to support a school corporation that means so much to them.
We are so grateful to have Robert as part of this incredible group of community champions who are helping us strengthen connections and create even more opportunities for our students.

On Thursday evening, three of our outstanding FFA members took the next step in their leadership journey by interviewing for the 2026–2027 District XIII FFA Officer Team. These positions are highly competitive, with only top members from each chapter selected to represent their schools. District officers serve as leaders and ambassadors, facilitating programs and representing their district at FFA events across Indiana throughout the year.
We are incredibly proud to share:
👏 Jack Kelsay has been slated as District XIII President
👏 Madeline Armstrong has been slated as District XIII Secretary
Even more impressive—Whiteland was the only school in our district (Johnson, Marion, and Shelby Counties) to have two members slated for the officer team!
As District XIII President, Jack will also serve on the Indiana FFA Executive Committee, representing our district at the state level.
This is a huge accomplishment and a reflection of the leadership, dedication, and hard work these students bring to our FFA program every day.
🎉 If you see Jack or Madeline, be sure to congratulate them!

This time of year is filled with so many special moments as we recognize the incredible people who pour their hearts into serving our students and families each and every day.
Yesterday, at Clark-Pleasant Middle School they surprised their Employee of the Year winners during an after-school staff meeting — and it was a moment full of joy, gratitude, and a few happy tears.
👏 Classified Employee of the Year: Jill Stickels, Administrative Assistant/Registrar
👏 Certified Employee of the Year: Laney Sweeney, Teacher
👏 Classified Operations Employee of the Year: Rhonda Yates, Custodian
Each of these individuals represents the very best of what it means to serve others and make a difference in the lives of students.
And one moment that truly captured the spirit of the day… Laney’s surprise didn’t stop with the announcement. Her teaching team went above and beyond by inviting her entire family to be there — and her sweet girls even showed up dressed to match her. 💕 It was a beautiful reminder that the impact of a great educator extends far beyond the classroom.
As each of our schools celebrates their Classified and Certified Employees of the Year, we are reminded just how lucky we are to have such passionate, dedicated individuals across our district.
We are so grateful for ALL of our staff who show up every day to support, inspire, and care for our students. This work matters — and so do you.

On Sunday, April 12, one of our talented WCHS band students, Hayden Shanks (tuba), had the incredible opportunity to perform at the Indiana Wind Symphony Side-by-Side Concert at the Palladium in Carmel!
Hayden was nominated and selected for this prestigious experience after earning a Gold Rating on his tuba solo at the ISSMA State Solo & Ensemble in February — an outstanding accomplishment that reflects his dedication and musical excellence.
Performing alongside professional musicians in such a beautiful and renowned venue is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we couldn’t be more proud of Hayden for representing WCHS at such a high level!
👏 Congratulations, Hayden — your hard work and talent continue to make the Warrior community proud!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Johnson County Community Foundation for their generous $1,000 donation to Break-O-Day Elementary!
Because of their support, we were able to replace essential items in our Art and Music rooms — and we’re excited to share the new materials our students are already using and enjoying every day!
Earlier this January, a heating unit failure in the ceiling of the art room area caused unexpected damage within the building. Thanks to the quick response of our local fire department, the situation was quickly contained and our students were safely back in classrooms within just a few days.
However, the damage resulted in the loss of many valuable materials and supplies in both our Art and Music spaces.
🎶🎨 Thanks to this generous donation, those spaces are now fully restored and filled with the tools our students need to create, explore, and express themselves.
📸 Take a look at the new items their donation helped make possible!
We are so grateful for community partners who step up and make a lasting difference for our students.

We are incredibly grateful for the work she does every single day!
Join us in celebrating Carrie and this well-earned honor! 🎉

Today, we had three schools recognized by the Indiana Department of Education for achieving a 95% or higher pass rate on the 2025 IREAD assessment — an incredible accomplishment!
🏫 Break-O-Day Elementary
🏫 Grassy Creek Elementary
🏫 Whiteland Elementary
These schools were invited to the State House to be recognized for this outstanding achievement
This is a celebration of our corporation's collective effort to make foundational literacy a priority for students. Although a small group was able to represent each school, this honor reflects a true schoolwide effort to support students in reaching this milestone.
📲 Be sure to check out each elementary school’s social media pages, where they are highlighting their own celebrations and sharing more from this special day!
💙🧡 We are so proud of our students, staff, and families who made this possible!
