On Friday, these young third-grade writers at Break-O-Day Elementary confidently walked across the "red carpet" and into the cafeteria to share their persuasive essays with parents and grandparents! Each student followed the writing process to create their books, culminating in what we call the "golden step"—sharing their writing with the world!
Many of the short stories focused on subjects that were meaningful to the students. They compiled their writing into books, complete with colorful covers.

Ms. Tatlock and Mrs. Gootee are very happy with how today turned out and getting to hear from professionals from different fields of Ecology so that their students got an experience that helps them further understand and share consecration efforts with others!

Zipline Races at CPMS!
In Mrs. Evans' 6th grade Science classes at CPMS, students engaged in an exciting hands-on learning experience by racing zipline racers as they explored the Engineering Design Process. Each class held a race to crown a champion, and nearly all students were eager to participate in the excitement by attending school!
