Celebrating Scholars!
It was a wonderful evening, Thursday, celebrating with some of our seniors at the Whiteland Community High School Scholars Banquet. In front of Dr. Edsell, the school board and their parents, 31 seniors were honored for their hard work and accomplishments and each student paid tribute to one of their favorite mentors.
Thanks to our partners in education, Buca di Beppo, Ice Miller, Jostens and Sign Solutions for sponsoring the annual event. Jostens, Brad Long presented rings to Valedictorian, Emma Gunn and Salutatorian, Jonathan McCoy. A big thanks to our Dean, Katie Sinzinger and Principals, Duke Lines, Brent Holman and Justin Brownfield, for putting this amazing event together.

Congratulations to the team of Lillian Nick, Cazmin Tomamichel, Leorah Morris, and Brody Polesel for earning 3rd Overall Senior Team at the Indiana FFA State Floriculture Contest!

Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, proudly recognized by Clark
Pleasant Community Schools, provides a wonderful opportunity for our community to
celebrate the diverse experiences and contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific
Islanders to American society. This month-long celebration, established in 1990 by
President George H. W. Bush, encourages us to honor their resilience, achievements,
and rich cultural heritage.
Here are ways families can commemorate this special month:
- Explore Asian American and Pacific Islander history through books, documentaries, or
online resources.
- Attend local cultural events or virtual celebrations that showcase Asian American and
Pacific Islander traditions, art, and music.
- Try new foods by cooking traditional Asian American and Pacific Islander recipes at
home or dining at local restaurants specializing in these cuisines.
- Share stories, traditions, and experiences from Asian American and Pacific Islander
cultures with family and friends.
- Support local businesses owned by members of Asian American and Pacific Islander
communities.
Let’s come together as a community to celebrate diversity and promote greater
understanding and appreciation for the multicultural tapestry of America.

Happy School Principals' Day to all of our Clark-Pleasant principals and assistant principals. Thanks for all you do!!!

Aniya Helm has committed to cheer at Indiana University! She's a Hoosier!

I know the end of the school year is crazy for everyone, but as you attend all the events and programs, remember most of these things are possible because of fundraising efforts and volunteers. In order for us to keep doing all of this, we have to continue to raise funds. What better way to do that then a fun night of dinner and games! Join us for a good time while helping us raise money to continue to support our schools! https://clarkpleasanteducationfoundation.networkforgood.c...

Family Forum!
Join us for an engaging and informative Family Forum designed to shed light on the critical issues of anxiety and depression affecting our youth today. Please note this is the same session that was held in November! This repeat session aims to empower parents, caregivers, and community members with the knowledge and tools to recognize the signs of anxiety and/or depression in young people.
We look forward to welcoming you to this important conversation and working together to support the mental health and well-being of our youth. SIGN-UP HERE: https://forms.gle/rb6YRrFYugcEwNfv5

Competing Online! The CPMS E-Sports team earned the opportunity to compete in the state tournament at Ball State University on Saturday. Our Rocket League team swept the competition beating Brownsburg in the finals and taking home the Championship! In addition, Jacob Sang took 2nd in the individual Fortnite competition. Congratulations to Jacob, Harshaan Padda, Jeremiah Wade-Brache, Liyana Cummins, Chase Fewell, Coach Gray, and all the CPMS Esports team members. What an amazing accomplishment for the inaugural year of the CPMS E-Sports program! Have a great Warrior week!

We love promoting former Warriors competing at the collegiate level, but it’s not everyday that they get to link up! This weekend at Vanderbilt, Bella Jackson (‘21) and Brooklyn Taylor (‘23) had the chance to do just that!
Both were All-State track athletes at WCHS.

Mid-State Champs!
Last night, our Unified Track and Field team won the Mid-State Conference championship hosted by Franklin! In only its second year of existence, our Unified team has grown to over 50 students, and truly is one of the best things that the IHSAA offers!
Unified sports are a collaboration between the IHSAA and the Special Olympics that promotes servant leadership among student athletes while changing their lives as well as the lives of those with intellectual disabilities. I highly recommend that you make it a point to come to one of our home Unified Track meets (5/9 or 5/13) and support these student-athletes, you will be so glad you did!
