Happy 6th birthday, (actual 23) to Miss Olivia Saylor an IA at CPELC. She is currently filling a maternity leave at GCES.

The Clark-Pleasant Band Department was recognized at the Statehouse by the Indiana Arts Education Network. The Department was recognized for being an ISSMA All-Music Award recipient last school year but also for our district being named a "Best Community for Music Education".


Voter Registration!
WCHS Councillors held a Voter Registration class in the auditorium this morning for all seniors. The Johnson County League of Women Voters participated giving students passionate encouragement on the importance of our democracy and the importance of registering to vote.
Students were able to register on their own device during the event. Those who have only a student ID met in the gym in order to get instruction on getting permanent identification.

WES Robotics!
Our robotics team participated in their last competition for this year at New Palestine! We are so proud of both teams and our amazing sponsors - Mrs. Smarelli, Mrs. Schaefer, and Miss Howell!










BES Robotics!
The BES robotics team had their last competition on Saturday at New Palestine. Their robots placed 24th and 30th! We are so proud of all their hard work this year!








Today begins “Read Across America Week” and our kindergarten teachers, at WES, have invited many guests to come in and read to their classes! A huge “thank you” to our Director of Human Resources, Dr. Schilawski, for being today’s special guest!

The Whiteland Warriors had strong offensive effort, Friday night, on Senior night, stinging the Beech Grove Hornets in the final game of the regular season by a score of 81-64. It now becomes a lose one and done season as sectional play begins.

WCHS Senior Noah Grady got a parade send off from his fellow students Friday afternoon as he heads off to compete for a State Title in Diving!
Noah will compete Saturday morning at the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI!
PCES Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Maxwell & Mrs. Sanchez celebrate "Valentines Around the World!" Students have received Valentine's Day cards from all 50 states and many other countries.
Students told Ms. Ruby that Valentine's Day is a day of "caring, love, family hugs and CHOCOLATES" Ms.Butler & "Ellie the Elephant" taught the students to say "Hello" in different languages, and how to say "I love you" in American Sign Language (ASL).

Diving for a State Title!
WCHS Senior Noah Grady has qualified for the IHSAA State Diving Finals which will be held Saturday morning at the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI! Noah is the first male diver since Collin Barton (our current WCHS Diving Coach) qualified in 2019!
