CES 2nd grade remote learning at Southeastway Park. A great learning experience today and the rain held off, too!

Mrs. Wise and Mrs. Beckley paid off those students who chose to spend their hard earned Warrior Way Tickets on a lunch experience with them. It definitely made their day!

The Ogle and Davies children made banners and went to support the drumline performance led by our own Mr. Thomas who works here at CES. They had a blast the drumline was amazing!

Thank you to the Wessell Family who owns the Pizza King here in Whiteland as they surprised the staff today with several pizzas and breadsticks as a "thank you" for all of the wonderful things the CES Staff does for their child, and all children here, each and every day.

Congratulations to our 5th grade team! They took 1st place in the bronze bracket of the winter CIBA league 🏀 Four of the team members are CES students! Avery Wethington, Addy Reber, Kenzie Goedeker and Divnoor Kaur.

Recently, 3rd grader Elana VanDeman spent the day at Clark Elementary as Assistant Principal for the Day!

Interested in a future in education, Elana met with principal Dr. Sloan to ask questions about his job — and he didn’t just talk about it… he put her to work! She received her own staff lanyard and even helped with PM bus duty.

Dr. Sloan shared, “Favorite part of my day… Elana’s curiosity and excitement about education. Make their day!”

It’s the little moments like this that mean the most and remind our administrators why they chose education.

I have been wanting to plan and host a car show here at CES for some time and connect it to a fundraiser for a relevant item that would benefit all of our students. The car show, and all the money we raise, will go towards purchasing a horizontal rock climbing wall for our students. Please see the attached flier that explains our fun filled day on Saturday, June 20, from 9am-2pm. The QR Code makes it very easy to register your vehicle. There is also a "donate" button for those who simply wish to donate towards our 10ft x 40ft horizontal rock climbing wall that will be installed on our north gym wall and benefit all of our PreK - 5th grade students.

These types of events take a lot pre planning and we are now in the promotion stage, which is why this is coming out so soon as we will be promoting it a lot through our school and all CPCSC schools, as well as social media, leading up to the event.

As we get closer to the event, I will also be asking for, and would appreciate having some volunteers help me on this day, even if it is for an hour...more to follow.

Good morning,

I wanted to send another reminder about this Friday as students will be dismissed two hours early. So, here at CES that means car riders will be dismissed at 1:45 and bus riders will be dismissed at 1:55. If you have a kindergarten student, please make sure someone is home to receive them off the bus as our drivers cannot let a kindergarten student off without someone there.

Also, CPCSC will not be in session on Monday, February 16, due to President's Day.

CES students were thrilled and honored to recognize our girls high school state wrestling champs as they visited CES this morning and our students lined the halls to cheer and celebrate their accomplishments!

Dear CES Parents and Guardians,

CES will be holding Parent Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, February 10 and Thursday, February 12, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Your child's teacher already reached out to you by now to schedule your day and time. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.

As it was National School Counselor's Week....staff and students did many things to show their appreciation for Mr. Bailey. Here is just one of many photos that popped up all over the school this week.

CES Pre-K Global Day of Play: Started in 2015 by educators to counter declining playtime, focusing on non-electronic, child-led activities. Core Purpose: Reversing the loss of free play due to over-scheduling and digital devices. Benefits: Boosts mental health, resilience, physical health, and social skills.

Friday, January 30, Clark-Pleasant Schools will once again operate on a 2-Hour Delay

It’s been one of those weeks — full of snow days, two-hour delays, and a whole lot of flexibility. As we head into Friday, January 30, Clark-Pleasant Schools will once again operate on a 2-Hour Delay.

Thank you to our families for your patience, our students for rolling with the changes, and our incredible staff for adapting day after day to keep learning moving forward. A special shout-out to our maintenance, grounds, transportation, and custodial teams who’ve been working around the clock to keep our buildings, parking lots, and buses safe in tough winter conditions.

Here’s to a smooth, safe end to the week — and maybe a little less snow in the forecast ahead. Stay warm and have a great Friday, Warrior family!
