This year, 5 coaches (GCES 4th Grade Teachers - Angela Fowler, Holyn Stonebraker, Taylor Hehmann, & Cindi Woods and GCES 5th Grade Teacher - Lindsey Harroff) and 40 fourth and fifth-grade students participated. A Dramatic Field Trip!
The field trip that took place on Friday, to The Indiana State Museum, was a great success! The students demonstrated The Warrior Way by showing excellent behavior at the museum and they also enjoyed and appreciated the theatre experience. We heard nothing but positive feedback from the students. Many of them had their first-ever visit to the theatre and found the performance engaging and captivating. The rap, rhythm, rhyme, and story of Frederick Douglass truly left them spellbound!
The 129 students, from Grassy Creek and Break-O-Day elementary, earned a Warrior Way Experience with Ms. Ruby.
