Our basketball camp is open for any boy who will be in 1st- 8th grade next year.
Our Future Warriors Basketball Camp for next year's 1st and 2nd graders will be May 19-22.
Our Future Warriors Basketball Camp for next year's 3rd-8th graders will be June 9, 10, 12, and 13.
We will also host a special Elite Camp for incoming 7th and 8th-grade students in June as well.

Our fifth grade teachers successfully wrote a grant to our Clark Pleasant Education Foundation and were able to have author Shannon Anderson visit the entire 5th grade sharing her experiences and inspiring our young writers!

Clark-Pleasant Early Learning Center has expanded Full-Day Pre-K to Clark, Whiteland, and Pleasant Crossing Elementary schools. Clark-Pleasant Early Learning Center (CPELC) is expanding its full-day pre-kindergarten programming for the 2025-2026 school year! This expansion marks four locations for our growing early learning program.
With these additions, we continue our commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education, ensuring more students in our community have access to full-day pre-K opportunities. National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day in 2025 is on the fourth Tuesday, April 22nd.
Why it's celebrated: This day is an opportunity to recognize the crucial work of school bus drivers in safely transporting students to and from school.
How it began: The day was established in 1981 to recognize the men and women who transport children to school safely. Here's a special thanks from Dr. Edsell. "A very special thank you to each and every bus driver for Clark-Pleasant Community Schools! Your adherence to safe driving practices, bus safety routines, and caring for the students who ride your bus is so appreciated! We absolutely have the best drivers!".

It provides an opportunity for schools and families to honor and highlight the powerful contributions parents and caregivers provide at school and home to support student success. The results are in from our 3rd Annual District Writing Contest, and we had nearly 200 entries this year which shows just how much our students have to say when given the opportunity to write and create. We are committed to supporting writing instruction and encouraging students to explore all aspects of literacy. Every year, we’re reminded of the importance of acknowledging and celebrating student voices—and the educators who help lift them up.
CES is happy to share that Dallas Steffes, 5th grade, was one of the winners at the district level. We are so proud of her!
